I grew up with a heavy interest in television, books, films, games, radio, comics, and pop culture. Having consumed too much for too long I decided that getting a job in any other field would be admitting I had misspent ten thousand hours of my life.

I'm currently finishing an MA in Television Production and I'm looking for a job in making or pulling apart entertaining content with a focus on all things transmedia and multiplatform.

So…..
Went to dinner with this 8 year old’s family and my family. She was reading this thick book. I asked her about it.
Me: How do you like it?
Lilly: I, I really like it.
Me: Who is your most favorite character?
Lilly: Um, the main character.
Me: Me too! Who is the character you dislike the most?
Lilly: Snape.
Me: Oh, but he’s my favorite as well.
Lilly smiles and I can see her thoughts drifting into asking me why, then resumes reading the book.

I watched “My So-Called Life” on Netflix this weekend. The pilot has the ballsiest dissolve I’ve ever seen. I uploaded it to YouTube.
